Welcome to the Centre for Holistic Schools Global (CHOLI-S)! We are a transformative hybrid organization committed to fostering psychologically safe, socially inclusive, and emotionally enriching school environments worldwide. Our foundation is rooted in evidence-based Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) frameworks and Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles, equipping children to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. In Africa, we collaborate with schools and communities to build equitable, culturally grounded models that promote holistic development. Globally, our mission extends to immigrant-origin children and neurodiverse learners, where we integrate approaches such as Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), cognitive-behavioral strategies, and play-based interventions. These practices help ensure that every child regardless of background, ability, or learning style has access to nurturing and empowering educational opportunities. Impact Snapshot 2024 School Year
👧🏾 1,500 learners supported through holistic SEL programming. 👨🏫 80 teaching staff trained in social-emotional learning and learner support. 🧑💼 30 non-academic staff engaged in wellness and support workshops. 🎓 12 school leaders empowered with trauma-informed leadership training. 👪 1,400 parents engaged through in-person and online school-parent conferences. 📚 15 trainings delivered on SEL and learner support. “When we equip the entire school ecosystem with teachers, leaders, staff, and families, we create sustainable change in children’s lives.”
